CHIHUAHUA® AND OAXACA CHEESE SAUCE WITH THYME
Ingredients
8 oz. Supremo® Mexican Style Crema from V&V SUPREMO®
8 oz. Shredded Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
8 oz. Shredded Oaxaca Cheese from V&V Supremo®
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
Method of Preparation
- Add sour cream and both cheeses to a cold saucepan. Stir to combine. Place over medium-high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Cheese should be completely melted with no stretch remaining.
- Cook without stirring for 2 minutes. Then stir well until sauce is smooth and velvety. Add mustard, hot sauce, and thyme. Reserve sauce.

Notes: Sauce can be made in large quantities and held in cooler.
