CHEESE AND GARLIC BISCUITS

Ingredients
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
16 oz. pre-made biscuit dough
12 oz. Shredded Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese or Oaxaca Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
Method of Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400˚ F. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and parsley. Set aside.
- Cut each biscuit dough round into 8 even pie pieces and add to bowl with butter and herb mixture. Add 4 oz Chihuahua® cheese to the bowl and mix thoroughly to ensure that the biscuit dough pieces are well coated with the cheese.
- Place 3 pieces of the biscuit dough into the bottom of each well of a non-stick muffin pan. Evenly distribute 6 oz. of Chihuahua® cheese onto the biscuits (about 2 Tbsp. per biscuit). Add another layer to each well with remaining dough.
- Evenly distribute remaining cheese onto each biscuit.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and biscuits are golden brown.
