CHORIZO PIZZA WITH JALAPEÑO CHIHUAHUA®
Ingredients
1 flatbread
2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 oz. Salsa Roja
6 oz. Shredded Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese with Jalapeño from V&V SUPREMO®
1 oz. caramelized onions
2 oz. cooked Supremo® Pork Chorizo from V&V SUPREMO®
2 Tbsp. Avocado Cream (see recipe)
diced white onion, for garnish
chopped cilantro, for garnish
lime wedges, for serving
Method of Preparation
- Brush outer rim of pizza crust with olive oil. Spread sauce onto pizza. Add chorizo and caramelized onions. Evenly distribute cheese.
- Bake at 500˚ F. for 7-10 minutes. Remove from oven. Drizzle avocado cream over pizza. Garnish with white onions and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
