DELUXE CHORIZO TOSTADA

Ingredients:
1 tostada (5 ½ Inch Diameter)-premade
1/2 Cup refried black beans, heated and kept warm
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1 Cup sliced romaine lettuce
1 oz. diced, seeded plum tomato
1/2 oz. V&V Supremo® Queso Fresco Crumbles
1 1/2 V&V Supremo® Pre-Cooked Pork Chorizo Crumbles, Thawed
3 avocado slices
pickled red onions for garnish
cilantro sprig for garnish
Method of Preparation
- Whisk lime juice and salt together in a small bowl.
- Brush avocado slices with lime juice.
- Toss lettuce with ½ tsp. lime juice.
- Place V&V Supremo® Pre-Cooked Pork Chorizo Crumbles in a small pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Keep warm.
- Distribute beans over tostada leaving a thin border.
- Mound lettuce over beans, followed by tomatoes, V&V Supremo® Queso Fresco Crumbles, V&V Supremo® Pre-Cooked Pork Chorizo Crumbles, avocado, pickled onions, and cilantro.
