GREEN CHILE AND CHEESE SNACK
Ingredients
4 Chilaca chiles, roasted, peeled, and diced
6 oz. V&V SUPREMO® Queso Fresco Cheese, Crumbled
1 small onion, diced
2 Tbsp. Grated Sierra® Cotija Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
1/4 Cup chopped Epazote
1/2 Tbsp. lime juice
Salt to taste
Tortilla chips for serving
1 tomato, diced
1/2 Cup chopped cilantro
Method of Preparation
- Add chiles, Queso Fresco, onion, Cotija, epazote, and lime to a bowl. Mix well, taste for salt.
- Mound about 1½ teaspoons of mixture on each chip. Top with diced tomatoes and cilantro.
Notes
VARIATIONS: Use one poblano chile instead of chilacas for less heat.
