All American Crunchy Beef Tacos are too irresistible to miss! Crunchy taco shells are filled with ground beef, lettuce, tomato, and melted Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V Supremo®.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. Kosher salt
- ¼ tsp. Ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- ½ tsp. Onion powder
- ¼ tsp. Dried oregano
- ½ Tbsp. Hot Mexican-style chili powder
- ⅛ tsp. Ground cumin
- 1 lb. Lean ground beef, 90/10
- 2 cups + ¼ cup Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®, divided
- 12 Packaged crunchy taco shells
- ½ Head lettuce, shredded
- ¾ cup Tomato, medium dice
- ½ cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
- Taco sauce – optional
4 Steps to complete
- 1In a small bowl; combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, chili powder, and cumin. Stir until seasonings are well-mixed and set aside until needed.
- 2Preheat a skillet for 2 minutes over medium-high heat. Add spice blend, crumble beef with a spoon, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes covered. Continue to crumble beef occasionally while cooking until beef reaches an internal temperature of 155°F. Reduce heat to medium-low, add 2 cups Chihuahua® cheese, and stir until cheese is melted. Cover and set aside until needed.
- 3Heat crunchy taco shells according to instructions on package. Fill crunchy taco shells with cheesy ground beef, lettuce, and tomato.
- 4Serve All-American Crunchy Beef Tacos topped with remaining ¼ cup cheese, your favorite taco sauce, Sour Cream from V&V Supremo®, and enjoy!
