Ranch Spread
7 Steps to complete
-
1Ranch Spread: In a small bowl combine sour cream, apple cider vinegar, garlic, parsley, chive, dill, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
-
2Broccoli: Bring 2 quarts of water and ½ Tbsp. of salt to a boil in a large pot. Boil broccoli for 3 minutes and transfer to a bowl of ice water (to stop the cooking process). Drain broccoli and squeeze out the extra moisture.
-
3Rough chop broccoli and place into a medium bowl with egg, flour, garlic powder, ½ tsp. kosher salt, black pepper, Cotija cheese, and Chihuahua® cheese. Mix ingredients thoroughly until mixture binds and becomes shapeable.
-
4Divide mixture into 6 even portions and form each portion into a patty. (4-5 oz. patties)
-
5Preheat a large skillet with vegetable oil on med heat for 2 minutes.
-
6Reduce heat to med-low heat and add broccoli patties to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes on each side.
-
7To assemble: spread garlic ranch spread on top and bottom bun, place the patty on top, then the lettuce, onion, tomato, and the top bun last. Enjoy!
