Cheese and Chorizo Tostadas are an easy way to enjoy an awesome cheesy crunch. Melted Chihuahua® Cheese, Pork Chorizo, and Radish Pico de Gallo give this dish authentic Mexican flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 link from (14 oz.) pkg. Supremo® Brand Pork Chorizo from V&V SUPREMO®
- 4 corn tostada shells
- 2 cups Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®, divided
- ½ cup canned refried black beans, warmed
- ¼ cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
- ¼ Radish Pico de Gallo... see recipe
- 8 slices avocado, medium-thick
4 Steps to complete
- 1Preheat a medium skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove plastic casing from Chorizo and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, crumbling with a spoon while cooking. Divide into 4 portions & keep warm until needed.
- 2Preheat broiler to 550°F or high heat. Lay tostada shells on a sheet tray and place ½ cup Chihuahua® Cheese on each. Broil for 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
- 3Top each cheesy tostada shell with 2 tablespoons refried beans, 1 portion cooked Chorizo, 1 tablespoon Sour Cream, 1 tablespoon Radish Pico de gallo, and 2 avocado slices.
- 4Serve Cheese and Chorizo Tostadas & enjoy!
