Ingredients
- 1 (8.8 oz.) pkg. Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
- ½ lb. ground sirloin
- ½ tsp. ground mustard
- ¼ + ⅛ tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. ground white pepper
- ¾ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ + ⅛ tsp. paprika
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- ¼ + ⅛ tsp. kosher salt
- ½ Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 hot dog buns
- To taste Mustard
- To taste Ketchup
- ½ cup tomato, small dice
- ½ cup red onion, small dice
- 4 lettuce leaves, shredded
- ¼ cup Supremo® Brand or Chihuahua® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
7 Steps to complete
- 1Cut 4 (¼" wide slices) of Chihuahua® cheese, then cut each slice in half. Set aside.
- 2In a medium bowl combine ground sirloin, ground mustard, garlic powder, white pepper, onion powder, paprika, nutmeg, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- 3Divide meat into 4 even portions. Flatten out each portion of beef and lay 2 cheese slices into the meat and shape the meat so that it fully surrounds and covers the cheese. Form cheeseburger dog into a 5-6 inch log.
- 4Preheat a pan on med heat for 3 min. Add vegetable oil and cook burger dogs on medium heat for 6 minutes, rotating for even browning.
- 5Place 4 buns onto a plate, place a damp paper towel on top. Microwave for 30 seconds to steam.
- 6Place each cheeseburger dog into a hot dog bun.
- 7Serve with mustard, ketchup, tomato, onion, and lettuce. Drizzle sour cream on your burger dog and enjoy!
