Ingredients

1 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls

2½ Tbsp. unsalted butter
-
1½ cups yellow onion, thinly sliced

1 cup green bell pepper, sliced

¼ tsp. kosher salt
-
⅛ tsp. black pepper
-
¼ tsp. garlic powder
-
¼ cup beef broth
-
¼ cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
-
½ tsp. yellow mustard
-
½ lb. deli roast beef, sliced
-
2¼ cups Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
-
¼ tsp. onion powder
9 Steps to complete

1Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

2Cut the entire pack of rolls in half, horizontally. Place roll bottoms on a baking pan and set aside.

3Add 2 Tbsp. of butter to a large sauté pan and heat on medium heat for 3 minutes. Add onion, bell pepper, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté for 8 minutes, then remove from pan.

4Add beef broth, sour cream, and mustard to the pan, reduce for 2 minutes. Add roast beef slices and warm for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat and set aside.

5Add 1 cup of cheese onto the bottom rolls.

6Evenly lay warm roast beef on top of the cheese. Add sautéed vegetables on top of the meat, top with 1¼ cup Chihuahua cheese, place the tops of the rolls on top.

7Place sliders in the oven for 8-9 minutes.

8Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Mix in onion powder.

9Brush tops of sliders with melted onion butter and enjoy!
