Ingredients

4 flour tortillas (6 inch)

1 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature, divided into 4 pieces

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 cup Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®

¼ cup chocolate chip morsels

¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted

1Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle for 1 minute over medium-low heat. It’s important that the skillet temperature is not too high, so that the tortilla do not harden or overcook before the cheese fully melts.

2Place tortilla on the griddle and spread one side with butter. Sprinkle about 1/8 tsp. cinnamon on the tortilla. Heat tortilla for 15 seconds with the cinnamon side up, flip the tortilla; add ¼ cup of cheese, 1 Tbsp. chocolate morsels, and 1Tbsp. almonds. Fold tortilla. Press down with a spatula. Cook until quesadilla is golden brown and cheese has fully melted, approximately 2 minutes. Flip occasionally with spatula so they don’t burn. Remove from griddle. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Serve and enjoy!
