Traditionally picadillo is used for chiles rellenos, sopes, tacos, enchiladas and tostadas. This is our Chorizo Picadillo ideal for stuffing or main dish.

    Remove plastic casing from chorizo and place in a large sauté pan. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, breaking up meat with a spoon.

    Add onions, cook for 1 minute.

    Add cooked potatoes, raisins, tomato sauce, almonds, cinnamon and queso fresco. Mix and continue to cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
