Our Grilled Cheese Donuts start with jumbo-sized glazed donuts and Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V Supremo®. With just a touch of butter, these gooey melted delights are unique way to enjoy melted cheese.

4 glazed donuts

2 tsp. unsalted butter, divided

2 cups Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V Supremo®
6 Steps to complete

1Preheat non-stick skillet over medium-low heat for 2 minutes.

2Slice donuts in half lengthwise. Lightly butter the skillet with ½ tsp butter.

3Place 2 donut slices in pan, inner-side down. Toast donuts for 1 to 2 minutes, and flatten slightly with a spatula.

4Top one donut half with ½ cup Chihuahua® Cheese, then top it with the other half of the donut - making sure that the original outside is now on the inside of the sandwich.

5Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, flipping several times, or until donut is golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

6Serve Grilled Cheese Donuts with our Vermicelli Fideo or your favorite soup, and enjoy!
