Ingredients

1 cup Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®

¼ cup basil pesto, (from a jar, drained excess oil)

1 roma tomato, cut into 8 thin slices

4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
4 Steps to complete

1Preheat a skillet or griddle for 1 minute over medium-low heat. It’s important that the skillet temperature is not too high, so that the tortillas do not harden or overcook before the cheese fully melts. Heat tortillas for 30 seconds on one side.

2Flip tortillas, add ¼ cup of cheese to each tortilla, distribute evenly. Add a tablespoon of pesto on each and 2 tomato slices.

3Fold tortilla in half and cook until quesadillas are golden brown and cheese has melted. Flip occasionally with spatula so they don’t burn.

4Cut quesadillas in half and serve!
