Make your own delicious pesto sauce in just 15 minutes. This simple Italian sauce brings summery flavor to all sorts of dishes.
Ingredients

2- ¾ oz. pkg. fresh basil leaves (1 cup tightly packed)

2 ½ medium garlic cloves, peeled

1¼ cups Grated Sierra® Brand Cotija Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®

¼ cup pine nuts

2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1Place basil leaves, garlic cloves, Cotija Cheese, and pine nuts into the bowl of the food processor.

2Turn on the food processor for 15 seconds, while is running, slowly, add the olive in a steady small stream. Adding the olive oil slowly, while the food processor is running, will help it emulsify and help keep the olive oil from separating. Stop the food processor and scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.

3Turn the food processor on again for 10 seconds, while streaming in the rest of the olive oil.

4Quick and easy Pesto Sauce. For quesadillas, pasta, over baked potatoes, or spread on toasted slices of bread. Delicious!
