This Requesón Appetizer has few ingredients, but lots of flavor!
Ingredients
- 2 cups V&V Supremo® Requeson cheese
- 1 cup sweet onion, diced
- 3 chiles de arbol, seeded, slit open
- 1½ cups cilantro, chopped
- 1 serrano chile, minced, with seeds
- 3 Tbsp. lime juice
- salt to taste
- 1 bag salted tortilla chips
4 Steps to complete
- 1Place a skillet or griddle over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- 2Place chiles on skillet and press down with metal spatula, until slightly toasted about 15-30 seconds. Turn chiles over and toast the other sides. Remove chiles and mince when cooled.
- 3In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients, except the chips.
- 4Spoon about ½ Tbsp. of the requeson mixture on chips. Enjoy!
