Ingredients

1½ links from 14 oz. pkg. Supremo® Brand Pork Chorizo from V&V SUPREMO®

1 cup long grain rice

1½ cups onion, diced

1½ cups diced tomato, deseed

1 tbsp. vegetable oil

2 cups chicken broth
-
Pinch salt
-
1 small bunch cilantro

15 oz. Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
4 Steps to complete

1Preheat a medium skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove the plastic casing from the chorizo and cook for 5 minutes. Break up chorizo while cooking.

2Add onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes more. Set aside.

3Preheat a medium saucepan over medium heat for one minute. Add oil, and heat for 1 minute. Add the rice and sauté, for 4 minutes, stirring frequently until lightly toasted. Stir in chicken broth. Add a pinch of salt. Add the chorizo mixture. Bring to boil. Place cilantro just on top of the rice. Do not stir. Cover the pot. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes.

4Before serving, remove cilantro. Serve with Sour Cream. Enjoy!
