Ingredients
- ½ cup tomatoes, seeded and diced
- ½ cup sweet onion (such as Visalia), diced
- 2 Tbsp. jalapeño peppers, minced (or to taste)
- ½ cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp. fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp. Kosher salt or to taste
- 4 slices V&V SUPREMO® Brand Queso Asadero Cheese (slightly less than ½ inch thick)
- 4 corn tortillas
4 Steps to complete
- 1In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro, lime juice and salt.
- 2Preheat non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat for two minutes.
- 3Place cheese in skillet in single layer. Sear cheese until golden brown on both sides (about 30-45 seconds each side).
- 4Warm tortillas and place one piece of Queso Asadero Cheese and pico de gallo into each tortilla.
