    Preheat oven to 350°F for approximately 15 minutes.

    Preheat an 8-inch nonstick (oven proof) pan over medium heat for 2 minutes.

    Place cheese in the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Flip cheese over. Cook for 1 minute. During this time spread preserves on top of cheese.

    Place pan with cheese in the oven. Bake for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is softened, retaining its round shape. Remove pan from oven. Transfer cheese to cutting board and sprinkle almonds over cheese. Let cheese rest for 2 minutes and slice into 8 wedges.

    Add 3 drops of vinegar reduction on each portion if desired. Delicious!
