Your guests will think you fussed over this elegant appetizer, but it actually takes less than an hour to prepare. It’s the perfect dish for your next wine and cheese night.
Ingredients

1- 8 oz. Del Caribe® Brand Queso Blanco Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®

3 Tbsp. Apricot Preserves

2 Tbsp. toasted sliced almonds

Balsamic vinegar reduction (optional)
5 Steps to complete

1Preheat oven to 350°F for approximately 15 minutes.

2Preheat an 8-inch nonstick (oven proof) pan over medium heat for 2 minutes.

3Place Del Caribe® Brand Queso Blanco Cheese in the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is golden brown. Flip cheese over. Cook for 1minute. During this time spread preserves on top of cheese.

4Place pan with cheese in the oven. Bake for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is softened, retaining its round shape. Remove pan from oven. Transfer cheese to cutting board and sprinkle almonds over cheese. Let cheese rest for 2 minutes, and slice into 8 wedges.

5Add 3 drops of vinegar reduction on each portion if desired. Delicious!
