Valentine’s Day is not all about chocolates and flowers. Impress your sweetheart with this Valentine’s Caprese Salad, a delicious sample of love and flavor!
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. V&V SUPREMO® Brand Queso Fresco Cheese

1 small heart-shaped cookie cutter

8 slices roma tomato (¼” thick)

⅛ tsp. fresh ground black pepper
-
8 basil leaves
-
½ Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
-
1½ tsp. balsamic glaze
5 Steps to complete

1Using a small heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out 4 hearts out of the queso fresco cheese wheel.

2Cut each heart in half to form 2 thinner sized hearts.

3Season tomatoes with pepper.

4Evenly space 8 seasoned slices of tomato on a serving platter and place a basil leaf on each tomato slice and place 1 heart shaped piece of queso fresco on top of the basil.

5Drizzle extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze on top of the salad, serve and enjoy!!!
